鶹 Supports Undocumented Students and Students from Mixed Status Families
Statement from the President
Dear Hornet Familia,
As we enter 2025, 鶹 wishes to reiterate our unwavering commitment to being a welcoming, safe and supportive campus community where all individuals can learn and thrive.
We also recognize that our community is facing new challenges, deep uncertainty, and emotional stress post-election. This is particularly true for our undocumented community and those with mixed status households.
As we face the uncertainty of potential policy changes head on, please know that 鶹 is here for you and we will navigate this together. Nobody is ever alone and we have the resources and programs to ensure challenges do not keep you from achieving your academic goals. Our campus is taking a proactive and collective approach to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students and is motivated by our shared values of inclusivity, diversity, and shared community.
In community,
Dr. Cynthia Olivo
